Kalin turned "14" on April 16. We went out to eat at Houstons and all the waitresses sang to him and he got a free piece of pie. Kalin's face was beet red! He was embarassed, but I think he really liked it. After dinner, he went to Young men's and they did a service project. At about 8:30 that night he finally got to open his gifts which was a new pair of shoes (he really needed them) and a pair of shorts and a shirt. He didn't want a birthday cake, so we just sang to him. Overall, he said he had a great day.
