This past weekend we traveled to my mom and dad's house and had our annual family christmas party. We had everyone there except Sasha, Barry, and Ta'Kara -they had to work. It is always great seeing my siblings and their kids. As always, it was a little chaotic at times, but I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
My mom made gingerbread houses out of cardboard (way easier than grahm crackers or gingerbread) and the kids decorated them with the many varieties of candies that my mom had available for them. WAY too much candy. I think some of the younger kids ate more candy than they put on their houses.
