School is out! Well it has been for a week now, but I just haven't found the time to sit down and update. Where does the time go? Anyway, here are a few pictures of the twins on the last day of school.
Kanab Elemnentary always has a tug-o-war on the 2nd to the last day which is field day. It was only in the 50's that day, but at least the sun was shining at the moment. Yes, the girls beat the boys. The big thing is if the girls can beat the boys and the third grade girls whipped the boys! The upper grades (4,5,6) get to have a water fight after the tug-o-war and even thought it was really chilly, they still got wet!!! CRAZY kids!!!
Kennedie got an award for only missing 1 day of school. Way to go!!!
Kierra didn't miss any days of school. Fantastic!!!
They both got awards for high achievements on the IOWA test they took at the beginning of the year. Smart girls!!!
Mrs. Aziz, our principal told the kids at the beginning of the school year that if they reached 42,000 AR points in reading, that Elvis would visit the school. Well, the kids exceeded that goal by a couple thousand points, so Elvis did visit the school. Pam did a fantastic job and was a really good sport about it. This is her singing "Hound Dog".
