Last Saturday, we (Jay, Jill, Kennedie, Kierra) went on a little four wheel ride out by the sand dunes. A couple of days earlier, Jay had taken Kalin to this same spot. Anyway, we rode the four wheelers for a little while until we got to a wilderness area and had to stop and hike the rest of the way. We hiked up this hill and found a slot canyon. It was really cool in more ways than one. Yes it was a nice little canyon and it was also hot outside and we welcomed the shade of the canyon. One of Jay's friend had told them there were some Indian pictographs in the area. We looked and looked and finally found them in two different spots. It was really interesting finding them and speculating how old they were and what the indians were doing at that time in their lives. There are so many intersting things to see in and around Kanab. It was a fun little hike.
