Happy 50th Anniversary!

This past weekend we traveled up to Salt Lake to go to Jay's parent's 50th wedding anniversary party. ONe of Jay's sister's hired a polynesian family that puts on luaus. It was a a lot of fun. We had the most delicious meal that included kaluai pork, sweet and sour chicken with rice, green salad, fresh fruit, and a roll. It was very yummy! After dinner we had a program put on by the family that cooked thedinner. The guy was from Hawaii and he and his wife, two daughters and son performed for us. It was entertaining. They also brought all of us girls up and taught us the Huki Lua and then taught the boys that thing that polynesians do when they beat on their chest and yell. That was the entertaining part!!! It was fun being with all of Jay's family. Some of them we don't get to see very much

Oh we're going to the Huki lau..... huki huki huki huki huki huki lau
The girl that was teaching us the dance was a 17 year old girl who was putting the moves on Kalin. Actuallly she came and asked how old he was and then a while later asked him a few other questions. Pretty hawaiian girl and boy could she move those hips!!!!!
We stayed with Wendy and Steve while we were up there and I just wanted to tell them thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday and for letting us stay with you. You guys are awesome!!
