Happy Birthday Jay!

Jay had a birthday on June 1. He is getting closer and closer to being 50 (5 more years). We didn't do much for his birthday because he had to work and I had young women's that night, but we did manage to go out to dinner with the kids and then have cake and ice cream with some of his family when I got home from young women's. i wanted to do something different for him so I decided to make him a one of a kind cake. AS you can see, it is a hamburger cake (no tomatoes). It was fun to put together and Ta'kara thought it was the "BEST cheeseburger cake". She still looks for it when she comes over. i hope Jay had a good day. Saturday we were able to go to St. George and pick him up a few things that he needed. Happy Birthday, Jay!!!

Relay for Life

This year, Jay and I participated in the relay for life here in Kanab. His work had put together a couple of teams. It is amazing to see all the survivors take their lap around the track. many of them were from our ward. We both have many family members that have had cancer, some have survived it, others have not. There were so many people at this event. The event raised $30,000 dollars and counting!!! Way to go Kanab!
