More Nauvoo
We spent the morning at Carthage. It was a great, but sobering experience to see and feel of the place where Joseph and Hyrum were killed. That afternoon, we spent the rest of the day touring the different sites and homes in Old Nauvoo.

This was Jay's favorite spot. He could have spent a long time here. This is the Browning building. He is the guy that made the Browning style guns and made a fortune off of them. I never knew he was Mormon.

I like the little guns. There is a very good collection of all the guns that he made. Some of them are worth a lot of money.

Fall in Nauvoo - gorgeous. We came at the perfect time of year. Not too many people and the weather has been perfect!!!!!

This is the home of my great great grandfather Jacob Weiler. We weren't able to go in the home because the missionaries are living in it and they were not home at the time.
Carthage

The jail is behind us. After Joseph was shot, he fell from the upper window to the left. You could really feel the spirit in the room that he was shot in.
